MRC realizes that there is no perfect grain spreader on the market. But, there are a couple that outshine the others when they are used in the right situation. The best option is the Ripco gravity spreader which uses the falling grain to spin the spreader (no motors). The entire spreader spins so you do not need to plum your incoming grain perfectly like all other spreaders. But, this cannot be used if you have a stirrator in the bin. So, for bins with stirrators we recommend the Sukup motorized spreader series. Both are shown below.

RIPCO GRAVITY SPREADER

 

 
This spreader requires no electricity. The force of the falling grain causes a slow, even rotation to provide a gentle distribution of grain. The chute divides the grain into four rings in the bin. Fines and light material remain with the flowing mass of grain and are distributed away from the center of the bin.

This spreader has pre-spread disks to help even out the grain flow within the spreader. The spreader pan adjusts to match your bin diameter.

-Standard 1/2HP version works for up to 34' diameter bins and 3000 bu/hr grain flow.

-3/4HP (3000 bu/hr) and 3/4HP High Capacity (5000 bu/hr) work for up to 48' diameter bins.
